Royal sources reveal truth about Meghan Markle's plans to run for US President

Royal sources have dismissed claims the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle may one day choose to run for the US presidency.

Super ambitious Meghan has once allegedly told a friend of her wish to seek the highest office in her home country - years before she met Prince Harry .

The Duchess and Prince Harry will welcome their  royal baby  any day now, and today Meghan's mum, Doria Ragland , landed in the UK ready to meet her first grandchild, a source has claimed.

Meghan is due to become a British citizen which would rule her out, although some sources have cheekily suggested her application could take three years which would leave a window of opportunity.

A source said: “Meghan is intelligent, a great orator, knows where she’s going - or wants to go - and is admired around the globe for her standing on political and cultural subjects. 


"It may sound fanciful, but perhaps she’s just the sort of person America needs right now.

A royal spokesperson described the claims as “completely fictitious.”
