Royal fans spot nod to missing great-grandchild in new photo of Queen taken by Kate

Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted one of the late Queen's great-grandchildren in a never-before-seen photo taken by Princess Kate.

The snap, taken by the Princess of Wales last summer at Balmoral, shows the former monarch on a sofa with the young royals all smiles next to their beloved 'Gan Gan'.

On the sofa next to her is her oldest great-grandchild Savannah Phillips, the eldest daughter of Peter Phillips, as well as Mia Tindall, who cradles her baby brother Lucas.

Behind them stands Lena Tindall, the middle child of Zara and Mike Tindall, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Isla Phillips and Prince Louis.

Standing tall at the back are the Queen's youngest grandchildren Lady Louise Windsor and James, the new Earl of Wessex - the son and daughter of the now Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

One of the great-grandchildren who are missing from the touching moment with the Queen is Princess Beatrice's child Sienna.

But royal fans have still spotted Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi in the photo.

In the image background, there is a framed photo next to an orchid, which fans believe features Sienna with her father Edo Mapelli Mozzi.

Others pointed out it was Sienna specifically in what appears to be a christening gown, meaning that snap was possibly taken after her christening in April 2022.

One wrote: "I saw Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi's picture frame with her father Edo Mapelli Mozzi."

Another added: "We have yet to get any official photos or appearances of Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, but she can be seen with her father Edo in what looks like the throne room at St. James’s Palace after her Christening.

"Sienna was christened in the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in April 2022."

The Queen's other great-grandchildren who are missing from the photo are Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet and August Brooksbank.

The family snap was shared by Kate and husband Prince William as today would have been Her late Majesty's 97th birthday - and is her first since her death last September.

Each year, the late Queen would spend her summers at her beloved Scottish Highlands estate and she would invite her family to stay with her, where they would enjoy long walks, family barbecues and picnics.
