Roy Keane has praised Ange Postecoglou for his "common sense" Tottenham approach.
Spurs comfortably defeated Manchester United in the Australian's first home match as a Premier League manager.
Pape Sarr and an own goal from Lisandro Martinez in the second half ensured that the three points went the way of the North London outfit.
It follows on from last weekend's 2-2 draw at Brentford, which means Postecoglou has picked up four points from a possible six in his start to life in England's top flight.
And Keane, who had been previously critical of Postecoglou's football philosophy with regard to inverted full-backs, was keen to praise the 57-year-old for implementing his ideas in such a short space of time at Spurs.
Keane told Sky Sports: "He doesn't complicate the game, does he? He keeps it very simple.
"Obviously we've seen the stuff before at his previous clubs, particularly when he was with Celtic and a lot of the stuff he's saying is just common sense.
"And maybe a club like Spurs and the Tottenham players needed that. Listen, we can all complicate the game but he seems to simplify it very well."
Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed James McCarthy is set to leave Celtic this summer.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder, 32, has endured a difficult spell at the club since signing a four-year contract at Parkhead two years ago.
McCarthy has played just 27 times for Celtic since arriving in Glasgow and only featured for the first-team for 801 minutes in total.
