Rosario Dawson tells of disappointment at being cut from Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Rosario Dawson revealed her filmed cameo as her Daredevil character, Claire Temple, was cut from Spider-Man: Brand New Day .
The deleted scene featured Claire assisting Peter Parker into hospital following a fight against Scorpion.
Screenwriters Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers confirmed the scene was likely removed due to runtime constraints.
According to The Wrap, she joked: “I told my mom, and she was like, ‘That sucks. Now I can’t post the pictures,’ and I was like, ‘Right, mom, me being cut out of the movie that has like the largest viewership of a trailer ever, the issue is you can’t post your BTS photos.”
Dawson originally played the character in the live-action series Daredevil from 2015 to 2018.
