Rookie of the Year contender Chris Olave made a filthy move to put a Saints corner in a blender

The Saints might be one of the trickier teams to figure out this upcoming NFL season. With the additions of Tyrann Mathieu and Jarvis Landry to an already talented core, New Orleans could be a sneaky NFC dark horse. But, much of that potential is contingent on Jameis Winston’s play and how Dennis Allen steps into the massive shoes of the since-retired Sean Payton.

Someone that will very likely help the Saints get back to prominence is rookie first-round pick Chris Olave. The former Buckeye standout was one of the better receivers in his draft class and is someone Winston figures to lean on quite often.

During a Friday practice in the Louisiana heat, Olave showed why he’ll be someone to keep a close eye on when he absolutely cooked teammate Paulson Adebo in a one-on-one:

Oh my God. Come on now. That’s not even fair! Olave knows Adebo is his teammate, right? There’s a friendly competition, and then there’s embarrassing your coworkers.

Though, in all honesty, it’s probably not as if Olave can help himself. It’s just instinct for him to put helpless corners in a blender before he creates an ocean of space for himself. Oddsmakers with Tipico Sportsbook have Olave at +900 (fourth-best) to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. Honestly, that might be an underestimation of his abilities.

There’s no denying it: Winston launching laser after laser to this young playmaker will be a ton of fun.

NFL fans were stunned to see Olave's slick route-running
