Ronnie O'Sullivan 'rekindles' Laila Rouass relationship following heartbreaking split

World Snooker Championship winner Ronnie O'Sullivan is said to have got back together with Laila Rouass not long after the pair split.

The couple were together for 10 years when they went their separate ways in February, CoventryLive reports. However, the website quoted reports from the Mirror which claimed the relationship was back on.

It comes as Ronnie equalled Stephen Hendry's record of seven world titles at the Crucible in Sheffield yesterday (May 2). The Essex potter defeated Judd Trump 18-13 at the iconic venue and has vowed to return and beat Hendry's long-standing record.

Just a couple of months after their shock split, snooker legend Ronnie and Laila have reportedly been spotted back at the mansion they shared together. The actress has also been seen wearing an engagement ring again.

Speaking to the Mirror, a friend of the couple said: “It seems like they are giving things another go. Nothing is ever straightforward when it comes to Ronnie but there’s a lot of love there.”

Rumours of the couple rekindling their relationship sparked happy scenes on social media. Richard Alexander wrote: “So pleased to see them back together.“

Another fan - Barbara L'estrange - said: “Everyone deserves to be happy. Good luck to them.“

And another - Pam Healey - posted: “Good for them. Sometimes a break is all you need to make you think.“

Ronnie and Laila, who have four children from previous relationships, got together in 2012 after a chance meeting while the latter was house hunting. She later admitted in an interview that she did not know who Ronnie, whose nickname in snooker is "The Rocket", was.

The couple became engaged in 2013. However, they have not tied the knot yet.
