Romeo Beckham has reportedly stepped in to support his mother Victoria as tensions continue between the Beckham family and eldest son Brooklyn.
Victoria and David Beckham are said to be heartbroken after Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, skipped David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month, fuelling speculation of a deeper family rift.
According to The Sun, 22-year-old Romeo has been doing his best to lift his parents’ spirits, even sending flowers to Victoria on American Mother’s Day, mindful of the ongoing strain.
“Brooklyn’s decision to throw this shade at his mum and dad isn’t just hurting David and Victoria,” the insider told the outlet.
“It’s also affecting Romeo and Cruz, as well as their daughter Harper.”
The source also claimed Romeo wanted to make sure Victoria felt “special” on Mother’s Day, especially after Brooklyn reportedly failed to publicly acknowledge the day last year.
There have also been suggestions that Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull has been unfairly caught up in the family tensions, with some claiming she’s been made a “scapegoat” in the fallout.
“Romeo is rising above it and showing his parents as much love and affection as he always has, if not even more, since this all started,” the insider added.
Younger brother Cruz is also said to be a “solid presence” as the family navigates the alleged feud.

The report comes amid Brooklyn’s absence from his father's recent 50th birthday celebrations amid tensions reportedly sparked by his wife, actress Nicola.
Brooklyn married Nicola in 2022, and insiders have long speculated that her strained relationship with the Beckham family has played a key role in the ongoing rift.
He was noticeably absent from both his father’s lavish London birthday bash and a boys’ fishing trip in the Cotswolds with his brothers Romeo and Cruz.
In the wake of the snubs, David and Victoria are said to have worked hard behind the scenes to de-escalate tensions and bring their son back into the fold. However, the family row has now spilled onto social media, where friends of Nicola have reportedly criticised the Beckhams - further fuelling the fallout.
Nicola has said the couple chose to skip the family events because they feel uncomfortable around Romeo’s new girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who is rumoured to have dated Brooklyn in the past.
Friends close to Nicola have also made claims about how the Beckhams treat their children, while critics have accused her of manipulating Brooklyn and intentionally isolating him from his family.
Tensions between Nicola and Victoria have simmered since the wedding, when Nicola opted to wear a Valentino gown instead of one designed by her mother-in-law. Sources say the incident marked the start of ongoing friction.
“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” a source told Us Weekly. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it, he’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”
