Romelu Lukaku is determined to fight and become a success at Chelsea.
Chelsea striker Lukaku is sweating on his place in the Carabao Cup final after the £97.5million record signing was axed for the Champions League.
That has led to major doubts about his future at Stamford Bridge, and reports in Italy have suggested that he could even be ready to take a pay cut to return to Serie A.
But while Lukaku accepts he is not in good form, he is desperate to win back his place, wants to play in the Wembley showpiece with Liverpool on Sunday and is prepared to battle.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel insisted after the Lille game that he wanted to take Lukaku “out of the fire ” after criticism of his previous performance when he touched the ball just seven times in 90 minutes at Crystal Palace.

There are no guarantees that Lukaku will be recalled to face Liverpool after Kai Havertz started against Lille and scored.
But the £200,000-a-week star does not want to give up easily, even after his interview before Christmas when he admitted he did not want to return to Inter Milan in the future.
That did not go down well and has clearly had a knock-on effect, but Lukaku did score in both Club World Cup games in Abu Dhabi.
Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, who has worked with Lukaku as a coach for the Belgium team, has cast doubt as to why Chelsea re-signed him last summer.
Henry, working as a pundit for CBS, said: “Chelsea like to press; to be active and to change the front three.
"Lukaku likes to stay in the middle so it makes it very difficult for him to adapt to the situation.
"But, again, why did you go and get him?”
