Roman Kemp devastated after realising Creme Egg he ate was actually worth £10,000

Roman Kemp recently tucked into one incredibly expensive chocolate treat, after it was pointed out he missed out on a £10,000 prize by scranning a rare half-and-half Creme Egg.

The radio host alleges that he was enjoying a Sunday sweet treat or two, when he spotted the unusually coloured Cadbury's product - made up of a combination of milk and white chocolate.

And by consuming the product, it means that he may well have missed out on a wedge of cash - with the chocolate company running a competition for finding the incredibly-rare treats until April 9.

Roman admits that he had no idea about the competition, despite it running annually for quite some time now, only realising the error of his ways after uploading a photo of the chocolate treat to his Twitter.

In a post of curiosity, Roman wrote: "What is this??? HALF WHITE HALF MILK CHOCOLATE?? @CadburyUK."

And after the realisation set in that he may well have missed out on £10k, he posted a string of further Tweets in a panicked fashion, adding: "I HAVE ALREADY EATEN IT AND PEOPLE ARE SAYING ITS WORTH 10K!?" and "I HAVE EATEN IT. WHAT DO I DO NOW? HELPPPPPPPPP."

And Roman's comments section were quickly flooded with replies to his misfortune. One, said: "Not a chance you’ve eaten it pls tell me you are joking pls," while another, added: "What does it feel like to eat 10k?"

A third, continued: "My daughter is horrified, she says she thinks you can send the photo as evidence. Really hope you’re joking!" while a fourth, went on: "Well…that’s the end of that then."
