Roman Abramovich to sanction Chelsea move for Philippe Coutinho on one condition

Chelsea will turn their attention to Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho if Eden Hazard opts for a switch to Real Madrid this summer.

Hazard has long been linked with a move to the Spanish giants, and is expected to seek pastures new at the end of the season.

Chelsea are determined to keep hold of their prized asset but may been unable to persuade him to continue his spell at Stamford Bridge.

And reports in Spain suggest that, should Hazard call time on his Premier League career this summer, Chelsea will turn to a familiar face.

Cadena SER have claimed that Coutinho is attracting the interest of the Blues, the Brazilian having struggled to impress at Barca after making the move last season.

Hazard, meanwhile, insists he has not made a decision on his future after firing Chelsea to the Europa League final.

The Belgian scored the winning penalty in Chelsea's shootout victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Hazard continues to be linked with Real Madrid and with Chelsea away this weekend, it appeared the penalty may be his final kick of a ball at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will now face Arsenal in Baku but Hazard insists he is not sure if it will be his farewell appearance.

"I am only thinking about winning something with this squad and this club," he told BT Sport.

"If it is my last game, I will try to do everything. If it's not, I will see.

"In my mind, I don't know yet so I am just thinking about winning games."
