Rolling Stones rumoured to be working on new music ahead of UK concerts

  • The Rolling Stones are reportedly recording a new album at Metropolis Studios in west London, following the success of their 2023 album, 'Hackney Diamonds'.
  • The new album is being recorded by original members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood, along with current drummer Steve Jordan, and is being produced by Grammy-winner Andrew Watt.
  • There were rumours a summer 2025 tour had been scrapped, with the band instead focusing on new material.
  • But the Rolling Stones are reportedly planning to announce UK shows in the coming weeks, after issues over venue and travel options were resolved.
  • Their latest North America tour grossed almost a quarter of a billion dollars and sold 880,000 tickets, proving they remain one of the world’s most popular live acts 60 years after forming.
