Rodney Anderson tabbed as steal of the draft for the Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals made a number of seemingly under-the-radar moves at high values in the 2019 NFL draft.

Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson in the sixth round classified as the biggest steal of all.

So says new analysis from Luke Easterling of Draft Wire.

Anderson, who ran for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns on a 6.2 average in 2017, didn’t make it far last season before suffering an injury. A spotty health history overall knocked him down the board.

Otherwise, Anderson was one of the most talented backs in the class and likely would have been selected much higher. If he can stay healthy, he’ll bring major explosiveness to the backfield with Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard.

While Trayveon Williams and Deshaun Davis could also be considered steals for the Bengals based on their potential impact compared to when they came off the board, Anderson is understandably the biggest steal of the draft for Cincinnati.
