Roblox Mugen Style Tier List [Release]

To excel in a battleground game like Mugen, you need to be equipped with the best Style, as it dictates the pace of your game and determines your combat tactics. So, if you're a beginner and confused about the best Styles in the game, let me help you out with a detailed tier list that separates the best from the worst.

All Style Tier List in Mugen

Currently, there are five styles in Mugen, which I have categorized into S, A, B, and C tiers based on their overall combat capability and ease of use. Go through each one and pick one from the better tiers that suits your gameplay style.

Tier Style
S Shockwave
A Sound
B Flame, Sickles
C Water

S Tier

  • Shockwave: The Shockwave is the only Mythical Style in Mugen and also the best Style in the game. The cooldowns are extremely low on most abilities, allowing you to spam abilities one after the other + combo pretty easily. For instance, I loved using combos like Airtype + Disorder to inflict a large amount of damage one after the other. Additionally, it is the only ability in the game that allows for extensive repositioning and provides a significant amount of air time. If you really want to make a name for yourself on the server, you should try to get the Shockwave Style for your avatar.

A Tier

  • Sound: I loved using Sound throughout most of my gameplay time in Mugen. It offers everything you need from a player; the range of most abilities is good, and the damage numbers are pretty high. Take something like Resounding Slashes as an example; it has a nearly 4 to 10 studs range of distance from the player's position, which is highly effective for a battleground game. The other best part is that the Musical Score Passive provides two unique buffs: Strength and Movement.

B Tier

  • Sickles: The Sickles is the best Style for beginners in the game. Why? Most abilities like Rampant Arc and Flying Sickles are auto attacks, and all you have to do is be near the enemy to inflict damage. Due to this, you can easily combine your skills more straightforwardly, making life easier for new players. Additionally, I loved the Poison Vein, which grants players extra strength while fighting.
  • Flame: Flame is a Style that is very similar to the Sickles. It has two auto-attack abilities in the form of Unknowning Fire and Flame Tiger, while the Rising Sun is also pretty easy to use. The only thing that separates it from Sickles is the Uplift passive that provides both Strength and Durability, making it slightly better than the former.

C Tier

  • Water: Water is the weakest Style in Mugen. Firstly, the dash distance is low, and the movement-based ability, Flowing Water, only aid in repositioning defensively. Additionally, the damage inflicted by skills like Surface Slash and Water Wheel is significantly lower compared to other Styles. Even the simplest ability, such as a Water Wheel, is challenging and requires precision to execute correctly. As a result, I highly recommend that you steer clear of this and look for other options from the higher echelon of the tier list.
