Robert Griffin, like anyone else associated with or following the NFL, was very interested to see what the Washington Redskins would do with the No. 15 pick in the 2019 NFL draft.
After all, the Redskins had been the subject of trade speculation before and during the draft. They ended up standing still and had Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins on the board when they walked to the podium.
Naturally, the Redskins made Haskins the pick.
For Griffin, it had to be an interesting moment. He was in a similar position not too long ago, yet watched during the same draft as the Redskins also grabbed Kirk Cousins.
From there, Redskins fans know the rest and the eventual fallout between the Redskins and Griffin. The veteran quarterback appeared to have some advice for all parties after his former team made Haskins a first-round pick.
