Robbers stole £10K in cash from a business in Old Trafford, police have confirmed.
A man in his 50s was attacked while transporting cash to a security van on Talbot Road shortly before 3.30pm today (July 6).
The two offenders made off with £10K in cash, police said.
The man who was attacked suffered minor injuries.
No one has been arrested.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At around 3.27pm today (6 June) police were called to a report of a robbery at a business premises on Talbot Road, Stretford.
"Officers attended and a man in his 50s who was transporting cash between the business and a security van, was located with minor injuries after reportedly being attacked by the two unknown offenders.
"Around £10,000 in cash was stolen.
"Enquiries are on-going. No arrests have yet been made."
