A road was blocked by police after a crash between a car and cyclist.
Merseyside Police rushed to Seabank Road in Southport at 10.35pm on Friday, September 23, following reports of a crash. Once a number of patrol cars arrived at the scene they found a car and bike had crashed at the junction of Bath Street.
The cyclist's injuries are unknown at this moment, but The ECHO understands they are not seriously injured.

The driver of the car has stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. The road is blocked by police while investigations continue and the vehicle is recovered.
