PATNA: Like the previous four years, there will be no Holi celebration at 10, Circular Road residence of former CM Rabri Devi this time too as RJD chief Lalu Prasad was recently sent behind bars in connection with a fodder scam case.
Rabri, however, extended her best wishes to the people on Thursday and prayed for communal harmony and prosperity in the state. Leader of opposition in state assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav had earlier left for Delhi with his wife.
Meanwhile, many senior BJP leaders organised Holi Milan on Thursday. Deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad, former Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and state BJP chief Sanjay Jaiswal organised Holi get-togethers. A Holi Milan programme was organised by Patna mayor Sita Sahu too.
It was attended by several politicians.
JD(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha had also organised a Holi Milan at his bungalow on Wednesday.
The Congress, however, has not organised any such event at the party level citing Covid pandemic.
