After New Year’s Eve, unwind and enjoy a relaxed New Year’s Day brunch crafted by Chef Pierre Tavernier with an exquisite meal and a city view.
At Park Hyatt’s Embassy Room, brunch begins at 12:30 p.m., with beats by resident DJ Boogie D.
Savour premium winter seafood on ice, ranging from mussels and French oysters to king crab and peak-season Canadian lobster, as well as cheeses and cold cuts including pastrami, Parma ham, reblochon, fourme d’ambert, and for a bit of flair, truffled brie and truffled gouda. On the lighter side, fresh salads are also available, including prawn and green asparagus, tomato and mozzarella, potato and smoked salmon, and Caesar. And naturally, the brunch will include a full bounty of local tropical fruit, such as passionfruit, papaya, jackfruit, mango, and longan.
Live stations will feature Scottish salt crust salmon, Australian lamb rack, hand-carved roast ribeye, grilled local tiger prawns, and sea bass in beurre blanc. For sides, enjoy a broad variety of winter classics, such as salmon quiche, potato gratin, roasted root vegetables, and pumpkin soup.
For dessert, sample classic treats like chocolate brownies with caramelized pecans, caneles, baba au rhum, or charlotte des fraises, a traditional French dessert made with ladyfingers and fresh strawberries. Or sample made-to-order crepes Suzette, and perhaps a scoop of your choice of ice cream.
To wash it all down, wine, coffee, and tea are available, along with a Bloody Mary bar to ring in 2018.
Enjoy the festive brunch from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m., and is priced at B3,950++ ea., with half off for children aged 6 to 12.
Reserve soonest, as seats are limited. Advance reservations are required.
