Riga v Celtic: TV and stream information, kick-off time, venue and more

Celtic are in European action this week as they look to take a step towards the Europa League group stage.

The Hoops have dropped into the competition after being knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers by Ferencvaros last month.

If they win in Riga, Neil Lennon's side will face either Sarajevo or Buducnost Podgorica away from home in the play-off round.

Here's everything you need to know about Riga v Celtic:

Date

Thursday, September 24.

Time

6pm kick-off (Irish and UK time).

Venue

Skonto Stadium in Riga, Latvia.

TV and stream information

Premier Sports 2 from 5.55pm.

Quotes

Celtic captain Scott Brown: “Everyone has to understand that you won’t always be at your 100 per cent best.

“There are times when the level will slip. The team changes, some people might get rested, but it’s just about winning the games at the end of the day.

“Sometimes you just have to grind out the wins and get the results, especially away from home.

“There are times when you are under the cosh a bit but that’s when you need to be focused and well drilled in your formation.

“You need to be at it defensively and in attack but that’s what the manager thinks of us.
