Ridvan Yilmaz Rangers exit confirmed as Ibrox club release statement

Rangers have confirmed the sale of Ridvan Yilmaz back to Besiktas.

The Turkish left-back has completed his return to his former club and his homeland. Rangers Review previously revealed the fee involved was £2 million.

The 24-year-old has regularly been linked with making the move and even this summer the links have been back and forth. But he is now officially a Besiktas player again.

A statement from Rangers said: "We can today confirm Ridvan Yilmaz has joined Besiktas for an undisclosed fee. Everyone at Rangers thanks Ridvan for his contribution while at the club, and we wish him well for his future career."

Rangers have also sold left-back Jefte to Palmeiras for £6m and signed Jayden Meghoma on loan from Brentford. They will likely to need to add more competition in the position.
