Ricky Gervais announces last minute Manchester Apollo show this month

Ricky Gervais is riding a career high on the back of his hit Netflix series After Life.

Now The Office star is hitting the road again on his latest stand-up tour, SuperNature.

The comedian has announced a string of UK dates including a show at Manchester's O2 Apollo on May 21.

He'll also perform in Oxford, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Cardiff.

An international arena tour will follow next year, after filming and production on the second series of After Life.

Teasing the tour on Twitter last week, he wrote: "The bulk of the SuperNature international arena dates will happen next year as I'll be filming and editing AfterLife2 this autumn and winter, but, I will be doing some smaller UK dates before that."

Tickets go on sale on Friday May 10 at 10am and are available from Ticketmaster .

O2 Priority members can gain early access to tickets in a pre-sale starting on Wednesday May 8 at 10am.
