Rick Astley announces highly-anticipated Dublin gig

Rick Astley is set to play Dublin as the English singer will make a highly-anticipated return to Ireland.

The "Never Gonna Give You Up" hitmaker will be taking to the stage at the 3Arena on March 5, 2024. He will be joined by special guests Scouting For Girls.

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 9.30am next Friday, July 14 on Ticketmaster. The endearingly boyish 57-year-old shot to fame 36 years ago but is still winning new fans whether he’s performing with Foo Fighters, Take That or Blossoms or becoming an unlikely social media sensation.

Rick will be releasing his ninth studio album "Are We There Yet?" on October 6. The album has been described as "the sound of Rick reflecting and building upon the experiences he’s gone through since the release of 2018’s ‘Beautiful Life’. Some of the new songs were started during the lockdown in 2020, but he decided to leave them deliberately unfinished until it was feasible to play them live again.
