Richard Madeley has gone full ORANGE on GMB and viewers can't stop talking about it

Good Morning Britain viewers were left wondering whether Richard Madeley had been tangoed when he appeared on their screens looking ORANGE on Wednesday.

Fans would have been forgiven for thinking there was something wrong with their TV sets following the presenter's sudden change in skin tone.

Naturally, viewers turned to Twitter to express their confusion, and the results were hilarious.

RC Doig summed it up on Twitter: "Has Richard Madeley been chimney sweeping before his shift on @GMB this morning? The colour of his face, different to his ears."

Here are some of the top reactions on social media.

'Bronze Orange and not Pumpkin Orange'

'He looks orange this morning'

'Do not adjust your TV sets'

'Orange mask?'

'Someone gone mad with the makeup?'

'Resemblance to the US president'

'Bondi Sands'

Steve Cumberbatch wrote on Twitter: "Charlotte looks ill sitting next to Richard Madeley."

And Francis Cotton wrote: "Richard Madeley on the telly this morning. Highlighted hair and tanning salon shade of peanut butter.

"Honestly haven't seen an appearance quite so contrived since Lily Savage. You're 62, Richard. Bit more dignity required."

'You could have made an effort!'.. Richard Madeley goes full on Alan Partridge

It's not the first time the presenter has hit the headlines while he stands in for Piers Morgan.

Earlier this week, he accidentally swore as he presented alongside Charlotte Hawkins.
