Richard Keys has not exactly painted himself as a fan of Liverpool over the years, but there is one thing he agrees with Jurgen Kopp on.
The Anfield boss has called for the removal of the 'clear and obvious' rule in the wake of an incident in The Reds' victory at Brighton on Saturday, when Luis Diaz scored a header but was then completely wiped out by onrushing goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Despite VAR being deployed to review the incident, the Seagulls' stopper escaped a red card after officials decided that the referee had not made an obvious mistake.

Speaking after the match, Klopp said: "It's a good example, a very good example for VAR and the issues we still have.
"The thing is that, it was a top goal and (referee) Mike Dean, how it should be on the pitch, he sees the goal and maybe thinks about a red card but knows there is VAR.
"So the linesman [doesn't flag], no offside, goal. Now we have the problem with this phrase 'clear and obvious'.
"That is the real problem, this phrase, because everyone has asked me today and I didn't start the conversation, everyone has asked me if it was a red card or not.
"You know when you get these questions that most of the people think it was a red card. So you think 'OK, it was a red card.' Everyone thinks it, so for what reason could it not be a red card, then?
"VAR look at it and there is only one reason for it - 'clear and obvious'.
"So we have a referee who might not look at it and make a decision because he thinks 'why should I? There is someone with a screen who can tell me who saw it."
Former Sky Sports Presenter Keys agreed with Klopp and said that the Premier League needs to use the technology in the right way.
Writing in his personal blog, Keys, who now presents for beIN Sports, said: “Klopp is right. We’ve got to remove the ridiculous ‘clear and obvious’ phrase from the game. We’ve got the technology now – so use it properly.”
Forward Diaz required treatment after the incident, with Liverpool's players not even celebrating the goal, but was able to carry on, as the Reds cruised to a 2-0 away win - their eighth successive Premier League victory.
