Residents who live close to a McDonald's have called for more to be done over "disgusting" littering that plagues the area.
The issue was raised by the latest Neighbourhood Action meeting for the Leen Valley ward as a key point of concern to address.
The public report highlights waste being littered in Bobbers Mill, particularly around the McDonald's restaurant in Nuthall Road.
Other hotspots for litter that have been identified in the area are a railway bridge between Fleet Close and Northdown Road, Bobbers Mill, St George's Park, Windmill allotments and Cyril Avenue.
Local residents said litter over weekends can be particularly bad, and urged people not to leave rubbish in the street.
Kerry Goodson, 29, a mum-of-two, who lives just off Nuthall Road, said: "It is not nice seeing lots of rubbish flying around where you live.
"People don't think what affect it will have. You get people using the drive-thru at night and they just toss the litter out the window and drive off.
"It then blows into other streets and just looks a mess. There are bins in the area but obviously not everyone uses them which is just daft."
Gary Cook, 70, of Bobbers Mill, a retired plasterer, added: "One of the big complaints before the McDonald's was built would be the rubbish that builds up in the area.
"It's disgusting that people do it. Wind blows it all over the place and it just looks a mess. They just don't think about their actions. I would welcome any work to tackle these areas of litter. More bins is always a good idea."
Ali Rediff, 39, who works in sales and lives in Nuthall Road, added: "I'm glad it's been highlighted as an issue to be honest.
"I often see McDonald's bags or drinks in the street. It's a big issue for residents really because it's a real eye-sore.
"There's a lot of cars on the road which sweeps the litter around the place."
A McDonald’s spokesman said: "We take our responsibility to the local community and neighbourhood extremely seriously.
"We are committed to playing our part in tackling litter, which includes our long-standing support of various Keep Britain Tidy campaigns as well as our on-going support of local anti-littering campaigns.
"The team at the Nuthall Road restaurant conducts regular litter picks around the local area, targeting McDonald’s litter as well as other rubbish.”
