According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Washington Redskins are going to move on from wide receiver Josh Doctson, be it by trade or release on Saturday.
The Redskins have been rumored to be shopping Doctson in trade talks across the league already this preseason, but now it appears to be official.
After a handful of seasons in Washington, the former early-round draft pick has yet to live up to expectations and has routinely been underwhelming. The Redskins failed to pick up his contract extension, this season, so it was already expected that he could be in his last days with the team.
