Report: Warriors to sign rookie Eric Paschall to 3-year deal

The Golden State Warriors are beginning to enter a new era as they re moving on from key veteran pieces like Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, and Shaun Livingston. They are beginning to bring in younger players and to further that point they have inked one of their second round draft picks.

According to The Athletic’s Michael Scotto, the Warriors will sign 41st overall pick Eric Paschall to a 3-year $4.2 million deal. Paschall averaged 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds in his third and final season with the Villanova Wildcats. He also shot 34.8 percent from deep so he has some range on his jump shot. If that can translate to the next level, he will fit right in with the Warriors.

Paschall stands at 6-foot-8 and 255 pounds and he has the potential to be a nice rotational piece that coach Steve Kerr can count on right away in Golden State. The team holds him in high regard enough to give him a long term deal.
