Report: Trent Williams’ plan is to return to Washington prior to Week 10

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams has a tentative plan to return to the team before Week 10 of the 2019 season, though nothing has been said about whether or not he will play.

With the NFL trade deadline coming on October 29th, the Redskins have gotten a lot of interest in the seven-time Pro-Bowler, but they will reportedly not trade Williams unless they were to receive an offer that “blows their doors off.” There has been rumored interest from both the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots, but the Washington front office has refused to comment on the matter.

In order to record having played this season, Williams will have to report to the team before that Week 10 deadline, so we will have to wait to see if that is his plan, as Rapoport says it is.
