Report: Jags will only have 2 preseason games in 2020

As expected, the NFL won’t be having a full preseason due to COVID-19 being a huge issue in the United States. Instead, they will have half of the usual amount and will be sticking to just two preseason contests per team.

The league will be doing without Week 1 and Week 4 this preseason. For the Jacksonville Jaguars, that eliminates their away game against the Carolina Panthers and their home game against the Atlanta Falcons. Now, they will just make a brief trip to Tampa Bay to play the Bucs Week 2 while the Washington Redskins will travel to them for a home game at TIAA Bank Field Week 3.

The Jags will have to report to training camp by July, 28, which will give them over three weeks before their preseason game in Tampa (Aug. 22). Their first regular season game will occur a little over three weeks later at home against the Indianapolis Colts (Sept. 13).
