REPORT: A.J. Bouye expected to play vs. Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that Jalen Ramsey would take the field with them for “Thursday Night Football” on Wednesday, and it appears he’ll have his good friend starting with him at the other cornerback position. Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, A.J. Bouye has been deemed healthy enough to go, too, and will suit up against the Tennessee Titans as well.

Despite battling through the hip injury that has limited him since last Thursday, Rapoport reported that the veteran corner has a “good shot” to play, according to his sources.

Bouye surfaced on the final injury report as questionable, which gave him a 50 percent chance to see the field when Wednesday ended. With him now good to go, it could be the last time he and Ramsey suit up together.

As most are aware, Ramsey requested a trade early this week and the Jags have been actively working to ship him per Rapoport and several other insiders. On Wednesday night, the insider reported that Ramsey would play against the Titans and that Friday could be the day that he’d be moved.

Needless to say, Jaguars’ fans will be hoping Thursday isn’t the last time the two Pro-Bowlers line up alongside one another, but having Bouye back for the game certainly improves the team’s chances of getting their first win of the season.
