Renée Zellweger gushes she's 'thrilled' she 'looks different' as her happiness shows

Renée Zellweger has rebutted plastic surgery claims.

The Bridget Jones star gushed she was "thrilled" the "healthy" changes she had made to her lifestyle showed in her latest interview.

Also, the Judy actress put "looking different" down to being in her forties.

Rumours were swirling the actress had plastic surgery when she hit the red carpet in 2014.

Now Renée has shrugged off the comments as she defiantly declared she was "glad" people thought she looked different.

She told The Sun : "I'm glad folks think I look different. I'm living a different life, happy, more fulfilling life and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows.

"People don't know me in my forties. People don't know me as healthy for a while.

"Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?"

Previously, she laid bare the "painful" experience and humiliation she felt when she overheard strangers on a train negatively talking about her appearance.

Renée recalled how a man and two women she was sitting next to on the "subway" were chatting about celebrities.

She told US radio station SiriusXM's: "They were talking about Hollywood and how Hollywood ladies are so silly, especially that Renée Zellweger.

"How could she do that? Why would she go and have surgery on her face like we wouldn’t know?"

Renée has returned to our screens as she walked in the stilettos of the late Judy Garland for new biopic Judy.

The movie looks back on Judy's attempts to recover her high-flying career and raise her children.

She made a huge comeback to the Hollywood scene with Bridget Jones's Baby in 2016.

The actress took a six-year hiatus from acting as she focused on her health and happiness outside of work.
