A user on Reddit has compiled a list of all of the legends in MLB The Show 25 that still don’t have a 99-rated card. While the game continues to add new endgame-level cards, several names remain capped well below the top tier.
According to the post, some players sit in the low 80s, including Bullet Rogan, Gary Carter, and Turkey Stearnes, while others like Frank Thomas, Tony Oliva, and Raul Ibanez top out at 97 overall. Even household names such as Nolan Ryan, Cal Ripken Jr, Warren Spahn, and Gary Sheffield remain just shy of the 99 mark.

Now, many of these players may get a 99-rated card before the end of MLB The Show 25‘s cycle, and that San Diego Studio is simply spacing out the content. Still, for fans of theme teams or players who just want some more variety, it’s certainly a bummer to see a lot of these names on the list.
