Reece Leeman murder police appeal for information from public

Police have appealed for more information relating to the murder of Reece Leeman in East Belfast.

The 21-year-old died from stab wounds after collapsing a short distance from a house on Kyle Street in the early hours of Friday, March 15.

Today, police appealed for witnesses who may have been in the area of Kyle Street or Connsbrook Drive between 12.30am and 2.30am to come forward.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with murdering Reece and an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and released unconditionally but re-arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and robbery and released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Do you know the occupant of 50 Kyle Street, Belfast? Did you see any persons or vehicles in the are during this period?

"Police are also appealing for information in relation to any persons or vehicles in the area of Connsbrook Avenue, Sandbrook Park, Belfast and neighbouring streets during this period."

They are also seeking any CCTV or Dashcam footage that may assist in the murder investigation.

The spokesman added: "No matter how insignificant you think the information you have is, please contact us. Your information could be key to our investigation.
