The Washington Redskins are reuniting with cornerback Kendall Fuller, who is fresh off of a Super Bowl victory with the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Fuller reached an agreement to sign with Washington on a four-year deal worth roughly $40 million. Fuller played for two years with the Redskins years ago but was traded to the Chiefs as part of the trade to acquire QB Alex Smith.
Fuller was drafted by the Redskins in 2016 and had a couple of great years before being traded. Now, with Washington in desperate need for a cornerback, and with Byron Jones and James Bradberry off of the market, it made complete sense for the Redskins to bring in Fuller. He will immediately help the secondary and provide a great spark of energy to the locker room.
