Red Arrows set for flypast in Nottinghamshire today - here's how you can see them

The famous Red Arrows will continue a series of flypasts today, Sunday, June 6, to mark the 77th anniversary of the D-Day landings - and you can see them in Nottinghamshire.

The aerobatics display team, which is based in RAF Scampton, Lincolnshire, has been taking part in the Midlands Air Festival at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, over the weekend.

It is the first appearance of the group in 2021, reports the Daily Express.

On Friday, a spokesperson for the Red Arrows said: "The Royal Air Force (RAF) Aerobatic Team is due to the display at the Midlands air festival today and tomorrow, plus a flypast on Sunday.”

On Sunday, a series of flypasts are expected from 1.35pm to 2.25pm, although times and routes may change due to weather or other requirements.

Nottinghamshire looks set to be one of the final locations along the route before the team lands back in Lincolnshire.

He's the expected route in full:

Exeter - 1.35pm

West of Cullompton - 1.37pm
South west of Norton St Philip - 1.45pm
West of Great Malvern - 1.53pm
South east of Worcester - 1.55pm
Midlands Air Festival flypast - 1.57pm
West of Stratford -upon-Avon - 1.58pm
North west of Oxhill - 1.59pm
Long Compton - 2pm

VCY of Leighton Buzzard - 2.06pm
North West of Clophill - 2.08pm
Shuttleworth Festival Flypast - 2.09pm
Potton - 2.10pm
North west of March - 2.14pm
North west of Bottesford - 2.20pm
Collingham, Notts - 2.22pm
RAF Scampton - 2.25pm
