Reckless vandals tear life-saving equipment from wall and set it on fire in Bray

Gardai are on the hunt for some reckless vandals after life-saving equipment was ripped from outside a supermarket and set on fire.

The disgusting incident happened in Bray on Monday with pictures showing the defibrillator box broken and the remnants on the ground.

The spot was cleaned up by a worker while gardai are now looking for the culprits.

A spokesman told Dublin Live there were no injuries and that investigation is ongoing.

He said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of suspected criminal damage by fire at a premises on Castle Street, Bray between the hours of 9pm on Sunday 26th January 2020 and 8am Monday 27th January 2020.

"No persons were injured. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
