Reba McEntire: I'm happier now than I've ever been

Reba McEntire feels happier than ever

Reba McEntire feels "happier" than ever at the age of 70.

The singer - who has sold more than 75 million albums in her career - admits that it's "wonderful being 70".

She told People: "I think I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life.

"It’s amazing. It’s wonderful being 70 and getting to do what I get to do at the level I want to do it."

Reba got engaged to Rex Linn in December, and she's loving life with the 68-year-old actor.

She said: "I've never been loved by a man like Rex Linn.

"Rex is a very tender-hearted man, and I just love him with all my heart. He's a good guy. Real bashful though."

Reba still relishes serving as a judge on The Voice, explaining that she wants to see "how many more great contestants" the hit TV show can unearth.

She explained: "They find the best people. I am blown away every season."

Meanwhile, Reba previously admitted that her marriage to Narvel Blackstock "was always business".

The singer was married to Narvel between 1989 and 2015 - but Reba believes that their romance largely centred on a business relationship.

Speaking about her ex-husband on The Drew Barrymore Show, Reba shared: "I think it works for some people. They can be married or have a relationship and work together. Our work was all the time."

Narvel served as Reba's manager at one point in time, and the singer admitted that business played a huge role in their relationship.

The singer also explained that work and her career were a constant source of conversation for them both.

Reba - who is also known as The Queen of Country - said: "Our marriage was 26 years.

"We started out working together in the band. He was part of the band, and then became my manager, later on then my husband, but it was a situation that was always business - whether we were getting ready in the morning, pillow talk, whatever, but it was business."
