It’s one win each in El Clasico matches so far this season, with Barcelona coming out on top when they met in Saudi Arabia in the Spanish Super Cup final at the start of the year.
Xavi’s side will be looking to secure a positive result to take back to the Camp Nou for the second leg, as they look to win the competition for the sixth time in nine years. Real, on the other hand, have not lifted the Copa del Rey trophy since 2014.

Barcelona need to recover from what appears to be their first stumbling run of the season, having been knocked out of the Europa League by Manchester United and then losing to Almeria in LaLiga.
