Real Madrid have reportedly cooled their interest in Manchester City's star striker Erling Haaland, with the Norwegian frontman having made a scintillating start to the season.
As reported by SPORT, Haaland has a clause in his contract that would allow him depart for a foreign club, but with Los Blancos having now secured the signing of highly-rated Brazilian youngster Endrick, the Spanish giants are thought to be looking to bolster other departments.
Haaland has been in spectacular form since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old has registered 23 goals and three assists in 18 appearances in all competitions so far this term - including three hat-tricks in the Premier League.

Despite having only joined the Blues earlier this year, Haaland has been linked with a move to Spain in the coming years. While it remains to be seen how long the striker will stay with City, it appears that he will not be joining Madrid any time soon.
Elsewhere, journalist Cesar Luis Merlo has reported that City have reached a verbal agreement with Argentina side Atletico Talleres over the loan departure of Nahuel Bustos.
Bustos arrived at the Etihad for €6.5million in the summer of 2020, but is yet to play a single minute for the club. He moved on loan to Girona - City's sister club - shortly after joining the Blues and has been with Sao Paulo since August.
The Argentinean made just nine appearances for the Brazilian club in the 2022 season, with the forward falling out of favour under manager Rogerio Ceni.
The report claims that the 24-year-old is now set to move back to his homeland to join his boyhood club Talleres on loan with an option-to-buy.
