Holy crowd-sourcing music-listening tips! This week we're asking you to find the best songs with a superhero theme.
Comic books and records have a lot in common. They share a pop culture of escapism, disposability and instant gratification. And ever since 1938, when Superman first appeared in Action Comics #1, superheroes have captured the imaginations of musicians.
Indeed, to some pop stars we've accorded actual superhero status, believing them to possess magical powers. Some of them have even believed it, too.
So tell us below about your favourite superhero songs, and we'll gather some of your best suggestions in a blog on Thursday.
For extra clarification: I'm not looking for songs whose lyrics vaguely hint at superpowers, and I'm also excluding God and godly powers.
