Ray J has stirred up fresh drama with some wild accusations about his famous ex, Kim Kardashian, and her mom, Kris Jenner. During a livestream on X, the singer told reality star Chrisean Rock that he’s supposedly working with federal investigators to build a case against the Kardashian matriarch and her daughter.
“The federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy,” Ray J said. “I’m talking about, I’m on the news every day. I’m gonna say a lot of s***. Anybody that is cool with Kim, they need to tell her now, the feds is coming. There’s nothing I can do about it,” he continued. He even added, “it’s worse than Diddy.”
Ray J, who dated Kim Kardashian between 2003 and 2006, offered no evidence to back up his bold statements. Neither Kim, Kris, nor Ray J himself has followed up with further details.

Online, fans were quick to weigh in. Many were skeptical, calling out the unlikelihood of someone broadcasting their involvement in a supposed federal case. “People who are helping the feds during an active investigation don’t announce it to the world. He’s full of it,” one user posted.
Others were more entertained than convinced. “We all knew some freaky stuff was going on in Calabasas,” one person joked. Another chimed in, “Ray J dropping bombs… is this the end of the Kardashian empire?”
Some fans even speculated about a potential headline-grabbing 2025, with one user writing, “2025 will be one for the books if we see Diddy and the Kardashians going to jail.”
This isn’t the first time Ray J has dragged the Kardashians into RICO talk. Earlier this year, he appeared in the Apple TV+ special TMZ Presents: United States V. Sean Combs: Inside the Diddy Trial. During the program, he said, “If you told me that the Kardashians were being charged for racketeering, I might believe it.”
For now, his latest claims appear to be more noise than fact. The Kardashians have yet to respond, and the federal government has not made any public statements connecting them to any RICO case.
Ray J’s outburst comes as the Kardashians continue to dominate pop culture with their Hulu series, The Kardashians, and numerous brand deals. While they’re no strangers to controversy, this particular accusation seems to be more bluster than bombshell.
Whether this is a genuine warning or just Ray J stirring the pot, fans are clearly fascinated. But without evidence, it looks like just another chapter in the long, messy saga between the Kardashians and Ray J.
