Ravens trade G Jermaine Eluemunor to Patriots

The Baltimore Ravens are pulling off another trade of an offensive lineman this offseason, sending left guard Jermaine Eluemunor to the New England Patriots.

Baltimore had previously traded guard Alex Lewis to the New York Jets at the start of training camp, getting a seventh-round pick in return.

Eluemunor has experience at both guard and tackle, making him an interesting addition in New England. Patriots center David Andrews recently went to the hospital with a blood clots in his lung, potentially ending his season. Though Eluemunor hasn’t played at center, he offers much-needed depth for New England. It also clears out a roster spot for Baltimore, who clearly grew tired of Eluemunor failing to step up in spite of being given many shots at the starting left guard role.

The Ravens have confirmed the trade and noted it was for an undisclosed pick.
