Rating Arsenal’s transfer window as Mikel Arteta aims to turn Gunners from league leaders to Premier League winners

In an ideal world the January transfer window is for other clubs. The ones that are desperate for reinforcements to fire them away from the relegation zone or to reinvigorate a failing push for Europe or appease a restless fanbase.

If your club’s doing well, you can just watch on from the sidelines in January as increasingly desperate teams shell out increasingly over-the-top fees on increasingly over-hyped players.

Heck, you may even be able to take advantage by moving on one of your out-of-favour players for an inflated price.

However, In January Arsenal found themselves in an extremely privileged position as Premier League leaders.

It made attracting players just that little bit easier with the carrot of a potential Premier League winner’s medal come the end of the season.

It also, as Roy Keane was, ahem, keen to point out, raised the possibility of a new addition damaging the team dynamic that put Arsenal top of the league in the first place.

So, with the ins and outs decided, we want to know your views on the window. Using our Mikel Arteta transfer slider, give us your assessment of Arsenal’s January’s transfer dealings.

Rubbish? Excellent? Or somewhere in between?

You can then compare your views with the rest of the Gunners fanbase to see whether they are in agreement.

And we’ll do it all again in the summer, hopefully with a Premier League trophy in the cabinet.
