Rathmore Grammar vs St Joseph's Donaghmore MacLarnon Cup final: Live stream info

As the Ulster School’s Championship season draws to a close, the final of the MacLarnon Cup takes centre stage when Rathmore face St Joseph’s of Donaghmore in Friday night’s decider.

The Belfast school were last involved in the MacLarnon final back in 2007 when they lost out to a Michael Murphy-inspired St Eunan’s Letterkenny side.

St Joseph’s are playing in their first MacLarnon decider, but won’t lack for confidence as they are backboned by players from Donaghmore’s back-to-back Tyrone Minor Championship winning team.

A host of the St Joseph's team also won a provincial title with Tyrone minors last year including Conor O’Neill, Noah Grimes and Ronan Molloy, who captains the MacLarnon team.

Rathmore, managed by former Antrim boss Geraróid Adams, draw the bulk of their players from the nearby St Brigid’s club, who’ve enjoyed great success at underage level in recent seasons.

For many teams, the MacLarnon Cup final is a stepping stone to playing in the MacRory Cup, but both teams will be fully focused on winning silverware at the end of a long season.

Here’s more information on the 2023 MacLarnon Cup final and how to watch it. . .
