A rare 50p coin has been sold for £255 on eBay after being minted with a glaring mistake.
The seller says the Benjamin Bunny coin has the Queen's head printed facing the wrong direction.
When a coin is flipped over, the Queen's head should be facing the same way as the design on the other side.

In the listing description, the seller said: "In the picture you will see the rotation error where the Queen's head is - that's how far the rotation is on the coin.
"When you flip it round, it should be facing up the same way as Benjamin bunny."
The seller adds that the 50p is in "lovely condition".
Because of the error on the coin, it could potentially be one of a kind - or at least extremely rare.

Despite its rarity, the coin only attracted two bids over the five-day auction.
Coin hunters may have been wary of bidding on a coin that didn't garner a lot of attention.
In 2017, around 25 million Benjamin Bunny coins were put into circulation, making the margin for error quite high.
The design was part of four coins to celebrate author Beatrix Potter - other characters were included on coins such as Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten and Jeremy Fisher.
According to Coin Hunter, the regular version of the Benjamin Bunny 50p coin would only grab between £1 to £1.54 on eBay.
Collectors are often wary of buying coins on eBay as there are plenty of fakes on the market.
Other rare coins which can fetch a pretty penny is a 20p with no date on it worth £60 on eBay as well as a rare £2 coin marking the First World War centenary worth up to £500.
