Punjabi rapper Vilin Nair, aka Raftaar, will marry girlfriend Komal Vohra, on December 1 in Delhi. “Bakra fas hi gaya,” Raftaar told HT.
“Komal and I have been seeing each other for quite a long time, five years now. So one day, she told me: ‘ My parents are asking if there is a boy who I like. So should I tell them about you?’ And I told her to go ahead, and then they spoke to my parents. Bas fir kya tha? Fir baat pakki ho gayi ( Then everything for fixed pretty quickly),” he adds. “My parents hit it off with her on their very first meeting,” he laughs.
Komal is a Delhi based interior designer and lives in Green Park. Her brothers, Karan and Kunal Vohra are television actors. “With Komal the thing is that she knew me before I became Raftaar. She knows me for who I am and that’s what I have always wanted in my partner,” he says.
The wedding will be a private affair. “We are keeping the wedding in Delhi. We are only inviting very close family members and very few friends of mine from the industry will also be present. But it won’t be a big affair.”
