Rapper Kodak Black arrested in Florida over alleged drug trafficking

Rapper Kodak Black, real name Bill Kapri, has been arrested in Florida on drug trafficking charges.
He was booked into Orange County Jail and is being held without bond, facing a new charge of trafficking 10g of MDMA.
Trafficking 10g or more of MDMA is considered a serious first-degree felony in Florida, carrying a mandatory minimum three-year prison sentence and a $50,000 fine.
The arrest is linked to an incident in November 2025 outside the Children’s Safety Village in Orlando, where police responded to reports of gunfire.
Officers discovered drugs in a vehicle after detecting the smell of marijuana, and items found allegedly matched those seen on the rapper's Instagram.
