Rohl has already made his first signing with the arrival of striker Lawrence Shankland. The former Hearts captain has agreed a two-year deal, with the option of a third, following his departure from Tynecastle.
Further business is expected in the coming months, with central defence a priority area. Nasser Djiga and Derek Cornelius have returned to Wolves and Marseille respectively after their loan spells ended, leaving Manny Fernandez and John Souttar as Rohl’s only senior centre-back options at present.
Blackburn Rovers and Derby County are also reported to be interested in the Swedish defender.
