Rangers team news for St Mirren away clash revealed

Steven Davis has named his Rangers team for today's Premiership clash against St Mirren.

After Michael Beale's dismissal last Sunday night, the interim boss takes charge of his second game.

The Northern Ireland midfielder will be hoping for a strong response from his team after they were embarrassed by Aris Limassol on Thursday evening in the Europa League.

He has handed Zak Lovelace his first league start for the Ibrox club in a shake-up to the side's attack.

Jose Cifuentes is also afforded a start alongside John Lundstream and Nicolas Raskin in midfield.

ST MIRREN XI: Hemming, Fraser, Gogic, Taylor, Strain, Baccus, O'Hara, Tanser, Kiltie, Olusanya, McMenamin

Subs: Urminsky, Bolton, Dunne, Small, Flynn, Boyd-Munce, Grieve, Nahmani, Mandron

RANGERS XI: Butland, Tavernier, Goldson, Souttar, Barisic, Lundstram, Raskin, Cifuentes, Sima, Roofe, Lovelace

Subs: McCrorie, Yilmaz, Dessers, Lammers, Sterling, Davies, McCausland, Rice, McKinnon
