Rangers squad revealed as Brandon Barker battling to be fit for Aberdeen clash

Rangers could be without Brandon Barker for the visit of Aberdeen on Saturday.

The winger is a doubt for the clash with a toe injury after he missed the midweek win against Livingston in the Betfred Cup.

Steven Gerrard is already short in numbers at Barker's position with the continued absence of Ryan Kent and Jordan Jones.

Joe Aribo will also miss the fixture after needing 20 stitches from a head wound he suffered in a challenge with Livi's Ricki Lamie.

The Rangers boss was furious following the incident, saying: "Is it skirting close to dangerous play? You are the people who have to write about that and have an opinion on that. A boy has just gone off with 20 stitches in his head.

“Now, I have watched Lamie long enough to know he is not that type of player. I’m not accusing him of anything out of order.

“But that is serious foul play because he has led with the elbow and Joe has been caught."

Possible line-up:

Provisional Rangers squad:

McGregor

Foderingham

Tavernier

Flanagan

Helander

Halliday

Barisic

Edmundson

Goldson

Katic

Jack

Davis

Kamara

Docherty

King

Arfield

Ojo

Defoe

Morelos
